Weighted Average Mark (WAM)

We encourage all applicants with a WAM of 65 or above to apply.

Indigenous pathway applicants (domestic applicants only)

Applicants of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent are given priority access to the Master of Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne under the Indigenous Pathway.

All eligible Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants must submit a Confirmation of Identity for verification.

Eligible applicants will be required to submit an application directly.

Prospective Indigenous applicants are strongly encouraged to make contact with the faculty Indigenous Student Support Officer to receive advice about the direct application process. Indigenous applicants who don’t meet the pre-requisites are also encouraged to get in touch with the Indigenous Student Support Officer.

Where a course offers both Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) and Australian full fee (AF) places, you only need to submit an application for one fee type. You will automatically be considered for a CSP if you are eligible.

After you apply

  • All communications related to your application, including requests for additional information and application outcomes, will be sent to the email address you registered for your application. To avoid delays, please upload requested information as soon as possible.
  • Track the progress of your application via the Application Portal.
  • Please note that the Admissions team will only contact you via email if anything else is needed; there's no need to enquire about the timeline in the meantime.
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview in mid-late September.
  • Subsequent offers may be made subject to available places.
  • First round offers will be made in October.
  • Deferrals are not considered for this course. Applicants should apply for the intake in which they wish to commence.
    • If you decline your offer you are welcome to apply again the following year but as the pool of applicants changes from year to year there is no guarantee you will be offered a place again.
